Orchard & Lavender Farm

Conner Orchards is 25 acres of Colorado-grown fruit.

Lavender by Laurie grew out of a few lavender plants next to the apple trees.

We are nestled just outside the town of Hotchkiss, between Paonia and Delta.

Orchard Fruit

While we have replanted and grafted many of the trees, a large part of the orchard was planted in the late 1960s and early 1970s by Ed’s aunt and uncle. When asked how we keep birds out, Ed just smiles and says that we have planted enough to share.

Lavender

Our lavender fields started with a visit to a lavender farm during the annual Colorado Horticulture Convention. We started with 200 plants, and over the years, through trial, error and learning, we have grown to 600 plants

About Us

Ed, a native of Delta, and Laurie, a national traveler, met at the Montrose Farmers Market. Together, they expanded the orchard and fruit product line to include lavender and fun combinations of the two.
